David Symons

David Symons is a co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer of GCQ Funds Management.

David started his career in M&A investment banking in Melbourne, first with Macquarie Bank and then Merrill Lynch. For the decade prior to the establishment of GCQ, he held a range of corporate affairs, capital markets and corporate strategy roles at Cato Counsel, QBE Insurance and VGI Partners. 

David graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Commerce.
